In 1 month, I packed my bags, got rid of almost everything I owned and got on a train. Maybe I will remember to post here and then you can see where I've been and how I've been.
Updated Itinerary!
Currently, I am still at Little Flower.
It’s been hot, so we’ve been cranky. There have been approximately a zillion breakdowns a day from small people. It’s hard not to kick your sibling in the head when it’s hot, humid and you’re watching Cars for the 3rd time that day.
The kids got baptized last week

They were only minorly traumatized.
Of course, they were excited by the IDEA of being baptized and the IDEA of the party, but once all the people started streaming into the house and they got up by the kiddie pool where Bill was blessing the water they changed their minds completely and tried to run from the horror that was to ensue.
Well, they all made it (though I’m not sure J was ever actually baptized… he was anointed and got to hold the candle…)
Since then, I’ve been exhausted. I think all of the traveling has finally hit me and I’ve been feeling pretty useless for the past week or so. Of course, the stop-hopping is not over yet!
Heading back to Lynchburg in about a week, where I will hopefully spend some good quality time with my friends there.
Then, my sweetheart will be picking me up the weekend of the 16th and taking me back down to Atlanta. I’ll be helping pack up the house and do the move out stuff before we head up to Minneapolis for the Jesus Radicals Conference on the 27th.
(speaking of, if you live somewhere between Atlanta and Minneapolis and would like to put us up for night, please let me know!)
After the conference, we still plan on heading to Trinity House in New Mexico, but exact plans are still a bit up in the air.
I’m really looking forward to being rested and having the energy to think and process. Right now, it feels like I’m just battling to conserve energy. It will be nice to be grounded again (though who knows for how long…).
Other news:
NAN IS OUT! That’s right, Grandma is out of prison! I was able to speak with her briefly on the phone, right after she got back home. It was SO good to hear her voice, even though I did not get to speak with her for very long.
Hope everyone is paying attention to the coming out stories of undocumented immigrants around the country and (especially) in Georgia. More on this later.
